Participants must opt-in to the Tournament. DanceWise will only track the scores of those who opt-in. There is no cost to join, and participants will receive a DanceWise Passport to track their progress.

The Grand Voyage Tournament runs from December 27th, 2025 through May 9th, 2026. Only events attended within this range will be counted. Public scores will be frozen May 2nd.

Nearly all categories are infinitely repeatable but are not guaranteed to be consistently offered. For example, if there is a competition in January, we don't guarantee competitions for February, March, or April. An example of a non-repeatable category is "Solo Dance in the March Showcase, 'Secrets, Spies, and DanceWise.'"

Attending a group class that is only offered once a month is worth only 50 points and does not qualify for the 150 point bonus. The 150 point bonus is only for classes offered weekly.

Workshops are not eligible for a monthly bonus, however all workshops are worth 100 points.

Points will be tracked on an individual basis. Participants cannot pool their points together.​

Points for attending "Secrets, Spies, and DanceWise" will only be awarded to those buying tickets. Performers must buy tickets in order to receive points for attending.

DanceWise and employees are free to make changes and additional rules as necessary throughout the tournament to ensure fairness and good natured competition.

Failure to comply with these rules or clear attempts to subvert them can result in disqualification from the Tournament.

Failure to comply with instructions or requests made by DanceWise staff can result in disqualification from the Tournament.
