General
- 01You don’t need to have a partner to dance, we have wonderful instructors who will dance with you! On social dance evenings and in group classes many people swap dance partners, and that’s not only fun, but a great way to improve your dance skills. Your dance journey is your own, and we will always make sure you have someone to dance with!
- 02That's what we're here for! This may be a bit of a boast, but we haven’t met anybody who we could not teach to dance! There are no limitations, we have worked with people with a wide range of physical abilities and experiences. If you don’t feel ready yet for group classes, in Private lessons you can learn at your own pace, and we adjust our teaching style to whatever works best for you.
- 03Ballroom dance shoes are not essential, but it’s a good idea to avoid sandals or crocs that could slip off while dancing. We have a DanceVision sprung wooden floor, so please avoid sharp stilettos or shoes with nails on the bottom! However, a good pair of dance shoes does make it all much easier, and we have options available here at the studio!
- 04Wear whatever feels comfortable and lets you move freely! We don’t have a dress code, so you can come as you are and focus on having fun. For social dances, tea dances, and themed parties, you’re welcome to dress up if you want to add a little sparkle!
- 05The cost for group lessons and social dance events are listed on our calendar and is usually $15 per person. New students are eligible for the 2-lesson introductory special for $99 for a private lesson with Julianne or Paul. Regular private lessons can be purchased by the hour, or in package plans that offer discounted rates. We are committed to never pressuring a sale or requiring purchases of large lesson packages. In the end, however much you dance is up to you!
- 06We happily accept cash, check, and credit cards! Credit card transactions may incur a 4% fee.
- 07We're happy to teach through all stages of life! Currently we offer private lessons where students learn the ballroom and Latin rhythm dances, with opportunities to compete and perform in showcases. Contact us for more information!
- 08We teach a wide range of dances, including American Smooth, International Standard, and International Latin, plus favorites like West Coast Swing, Bachata, Salsa, and country dances. Whether you want social dancing, showcases, or competition training, we’ll help you find the style that fits you best!
- 09Absolutely! We love helping you feel confident and relaxed on your big day. You can choose your own song, keep the dance simple, or let us build a custom routine that feels a little more wow!
